Druva
Back to ReviewsFormer Employee the biggest Pro for Druva is that they have a clear product with wide application. Qualification is easy, it's essentially - does the customer have a pain or project related to backup, recovery and data resiliency? does the customer want a true SaaS offering? if yes to both, this is a great target for Druva to pursue.
Negatives - overly segmented for AEs. The corporate/SMB sellers that are successful are concentrated in expected high tech areas (Bay Area, LA, NY, Boston) with a scattering of other successes.
Enterprise reps that are successful are largely successful because they sell to existing customers and can win upsell business.
The company is closely tied to Dell which can be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask
The most core offering - endpoint backup and recovery - is quickly being eroded by customers reliance on cloud based storage and file sharing - ie, OneDrive - and lack of reliance for storing files/data on the endpoint device
The SaaS backup (M365, Google, SFDC) is the most interesting area, but is not highly profitable for reps
DC/VM backup ("Phoenix") feels like is has a very clear niche where it fits Browse Other Reviews
