My overall experience is that the company values external hires more than internal promotions and they pay them more. Not really a morale booster.

A lot of great individual contributors in the Sales Org with a great culture amongst teams. But leadership tends to be very political and possesses a lot of favoritism. Many leaders throughout the Sales org should NOT be in Leadership positions. The company as a whole is going downhill.
