I had a terrific time at Dell up until the last year. The decisions being made are not in the best interest of the sales people and are destroying what made this place great. They talk about record growth every quarter but layoff employees every 6 months. Quotas are 60% higher than 3 year average plus aggressive growth target. And now they are wanting to force everyone back in 5 days a week. This company has fallen so far

My overall experience at Dell was good. I was there before "Michael" bought back the company and stayed during the privatization and left after they went public. The sales org was run masterfully by a very competent leader. The only knock I would have on the company is they don't know if they want to be channel only or direct to customer.
