My overall experience was good. They have exceptional benefits and I had my first sales leader in my career. I don’t need a sales manager but I could definitely use a sales leader! Someone who is willing to help members on the team be successful.

Working for Dell was exceptional and over my time I had many great leaders. Things began to change with the EMC leadership coming onboard and the culture changed pretty dramatically.

Constantly changing roles, vague expectation, and unattainable goals. Del is trying to figure out where it’s sales teams belong in the market and the multi year “transition” is costing employee loyalty. Layoffs 2-3x per year is salt filled icing on the cake.

I made these decisions based off high volatility within the company, to include constant layoffs despite posturing about record profits, circumstances beyond your control such as quotas increasing 100% in a matter of 3 months, continued asking of doing more with less.
