Highly recommend joining Datadog if you're eager to work hard and open to coaching. The Commercial West leadership is exceptionally talented, with most leaders being promoted from within, which speaks to the company’s commitment to employee growth and development. There is a solid structure in place that equips sellers with the tools they need to succeed. The new compensation plan introduced in 2024 is especially favorable for commercial sellers, offering excellent earning potential by driving new logos through the door. My experience in the Commercial West was overwhelming positive from start to finish, and I only wish I could have stayed longer. If you’re thinking about joining, just jump in the boat and do it.

Overall experience is good as an SDR - achievable targets and good benefits. Good learning and development opportunites. One point to take into account is that, if you are on PTO, your target is not going to get pro-rated.

New payment structure in 2024 is very desirable. Leadership seems to have a stronger focus on finding ways for reps to hit quota. Many more reps should hit their yearly number in 2024.
