Databricks is a great company with a great product market fit. What I see truly dictate success within the organization is having a great manager. I've seen bad managers ruin opportunity here.

Databricks is an interesting compensation model. You can get a list of accounts that are terrible and your compensation is based 70% on consumption. So 30% of your comp is on new business and the quotas are absolutely insane. No one makes their number and people are miserable.

Acceptable - Quota is attainable however it changes MoM with little to no time for preparation/planning ahead.

The pay is bad compared to other companies. If you are not a senior member of staff do not except that great of a TC.
