Confluent has product market fit and is the leader in the space. Digital native, Enterprise and strategic teams bring in large deals with cool logos. I believe in Jay and he is a great founder. Overall great company but a lot to work on.

technical product so long ramp up time for sales, relatively new market segment so long sales cycles because customers are not yet aware of the potential, great potential for sales if given the time. Unfortunately Confluent is not always focusing on the long term

The business has hired too many reps without a real plan of getting them to quota. Directors are hitting their targets and about 15% of reps are hitting theirs. It’s a huge disconnect
