The business has hired too many reps without a real plan of getting them to quota. Directors are hitting their targets and about 15% of reps are hitting theirs. It’s a huge disconnect

My experience at Confluent overall was positive. They have strong enablement and support for sales. That said, at the time there was a severe misalignment between between the go to market strategy and the sales comp plan which made it very challenging for reps to hit their attainment goals.

You can make a lot of money if you land the right territory. Accelerators pay out very well.
