My experience at Confluent overall was positive. They have strong enablement and support for sales. That said, at the time there was a severe misalignment between between the go to market strategy and the sales comp plan which made it very challenging for reps to hit their attainment goals.

Would not recommend. Confluent has an identity crisis and is trying to become a data platform when their value is in fully managed kafka. Midmarket was an absolute dead zone as Confluent is a nice to have, and only really sellable to people using Kafka, which is very use case specific. Bad sales leadership, zero culture.
