Only good thing about this job is that it’s remote. If that wasn’t the case most people would leave.
The leaders at the organization change base pays to be lower then they were, create demotion paths for not hitting targets, create different lead assignment rules for high converting reps, micromanage every aspect of your day, and then seem shocked when most the org continuously misses quotas. They arent malicious and they don’t treat you badly on an individual basis, they just seem grossly incompetent. They’ve set high quotas that at unrealistic and seem surprised when people don’t hit it but blame “lack of focus on company culture” or “lazy reps” as the reason. The leaders take zero accountability and pass all issues off to reps. At least on the executive side. Individual managers are mostly great and care about each of there reps. When you struggle they will be there to help you out and improve from where you are. Managers seem to genuinely care. Even Directors and VPs seem to care, they just seem incompetent.
There misaligned goals, unrealistic targets, uncompetitive pay, and incompetent executive leadership.
