My experience was not what I expected. Was hired by an amazing sales executive (manager) and loved our regional VP. Felt like I finally landed somewhere that prided support and continued development. A few months in, my boss was pushed out and the VP left soon after. This created a 180 degree experience with little direction and mentorship. There are a lot of incredible resources you will have internally but it's those closest leaders that impact you and your role the most. I didn't have a boss for 10 months which highly impacted my development. Although I had success, it was highly stumped and it was rarely acknowledged. I left after a year and a half.

SMB AE, is very very intense. Depending on how you get hired, you work to farm referrals from CPA or Banks. It’s a GREAT first job, and you learn a lot. The upside is if you’re a top performer (hitting club) you’re making probably making $150k
