Commission structure is a lot of work for little pay and you are at the mercy of your AE. On that note, good luck having an AE last more than a few months due to the pre-assigned territory (most are recycled accounts or Do Not Contact) unless you are tenured here, starting out will be a nightmare; lack of proper training, management doesn’t know what’s going on, and you will be put on a PIP before to long. The micromanaging is at an all time high. Not enough space to write about that. If you have an opportunity to work here, don’t.

My overall experience was nothing short of horrific. Terrible company, horrible "leadership", the 15-20% of reps who do hit quota are the same 5-6 people every month, you will literally enter a constant state of depression and anxiety here. The hire, fire, constantly. Tenured reps are reps that have been there for 1 year. Seriously, do not consider working here.

While I’ll be forever grateful that Darktrace gave me my first sales opportunity, you are at the end of the day a number to them. Far more fail in this role then succeed. The top earners make up less then 5% of the company while the majority are barely scraping by. If you work in a competitive region good luck making quota without a channel partner.
