The mid market AE role is tough. It’s full a cycle AE sales role focused primarily on prospecting into new accounts. There is no inbound and very limited BDR/SDR support. I will say, you have every sales tool possible to be successful though.

Great product fit but leadership is frequently shifting execution and go to market strategies. Compensation structure allows top sellers to well surpass their OTE. However, this is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve and Zoom does a poor job of increasing OTE based on attainment or tenure. Overall a good product in a tough selling market.

Experience is great, but it can be a hard sell at times. Definitely a place to go to sell upmarket and make some money if you have a good book and some strong accounts.
