Great company in terms of the consumer brand, product market fit and work/life balance but every sales person has been capped out with hardly any variable comp outside of options/ RSU’s.

As an organization Zillow provides the inbound lead flow and sales enablement tools to succeed. It is remote so that is a big plus. The quota is constantly changing with the same target payout so your comp is never consistent month over month.

Great product and decent front line management. The building blocks of the culture were fantastic, but there were noticeable decreases to culture in morale beginning in 2019

not a lot of growth opportunities for sales skills. Companies value "fairness "and do not usually reward top performers with a senior title unless they have spent significant time doing things outside of performing their own sales. Office politics is as usual as how it would be in any other big tech firms. You would see managers or higher leadership roles get fired...Read More
