Current Employee I’ve made around 55-75k base plus commission my first 3 years. Base 37k for first 6 months then 39k for 6 months, after a year was from start base was $45k. after 2 years, it’s 54k and barely increases from there.
If you master the role then there’s good earning potential, but for most of us we experience burnout and make anywhere from $1000-3000 in commission each month pre-tax.
Lack of upward mobility, heavy external hiring for everything but management.

The standard sales role has evolved to mostly calling previous advertisers, leads that have never answered, or leads that have been heavily pursued and told many reps no.
There’s a push on biz owners signing up themselves online with promotions and a whole team that gets all the new business.
