Commercial org is longer a true mid-market role. Accounts assigned to the commercial team are 250-1500 employees, with the best accounts in that range pulled to enterprise and majors. It is also common for a commercial rep to work a deal 90% of the way, only for it to be pulled to another segment. If you’re lucky you’ll get a 25% split. The VP of commercial has failed upwards and is more focused on keeping her job than ensuring that commercial reps are treated fairly by the business.

Weak sales leadership and toxic culture overall riddled with nepotism and lack of accountability. Zero transparency and enablement. No room to make mistakes or catch your breath.
