Some reps walk into territories that have been built out by their predecessor, while others are starting from the ground up. The higher the salary level, the higher the quotas, and expectations. There's no correlation between territory and quota.
Like the company, many of the sales reps and managers are still early on in their careers with little to no management experience. As an AE, this role is great for BDR/SDRs who are transitioning into the role or people who are extremely early on in their careers. Unfortunately, Verkada is known as a meat-grinder that works their sales team to the ground expecting spam-like activities (500 + emails/week, 150 dials/week) while outbound BDRs and marketing BDRs are working the territory too.
Since it's a tough market and if you need a job, then this role will do until you find another role that's not demoralizing.
Expect to be surrounded by 22-28-year-old people who fit the bill of a typical tech sales fraternity/sorority. Browse Other Reviews
