Back to ReviewsFormer Employee The product at Verkada is amazing, one of the best products I've gotten to sell, though it is a very expensive solution. The culture from upper management is extremely cut-throat, giving reps quotas that are barely attainable unless you get lucky and inherit the previous rep's open pipeline, making some reps look like super stars without doing anything themselves. There is very little support or training from management, just throwing you to the fire once you get out of 2 weeks of general product and sales training at HQ. Compensation is okay, but unless you are in a good territory and have good channel partners bringing you business regularly, you will make next to nothing with commissions. Overall, this role is a lot of over-promising and under-delivering on the picture that is painted during the interview process and onboarding, with reps getting fired on a regular basis which is recognized by all of your channel partners.
