Back to ReviewsFormer Employee My overall experience at Verkada was a solid 5/10. Quotas are not adjusted for territories, so someone covering a rural area has to bring in the same amount as someone covering downtown Dallas. It can happen if you walk into deals from the previous rep who just got canned for not hitting for two quarters. Or if you have an incredible partner network already in place. But if that does not exist, you are screwed. Leadership has minimal tenure at most offices - it is the blind leading the blind. Some are qualified to be managers, but most are not. Just ask when your deals are coming in. Training/education to advance your career is minimal. This is a good job if you want to get into tech because the product is easy to sell (it does have excellent market fit, just expensive as hell) - as long as you do not care about potentially losing your job before the year is up. Also, choose SLED if they let you - the commercial side of the business is currently in the trenches... It is a toss-up > so take this as a warning. Browse Other Reviews
