TDR leadership can and will revoke your promotion or job change within the organization up to your first day in that new role. Seen it plenty of times where TDR leaders pulled someone who already had an offer and start date for an account manager promotion claiming "need for more experience"... despite the TDR passing the interview with the hiring manager & director. The reality is that TDR turnover is extremely high, and leadership is doing everything they can to stop anyone from leaving the team. Do not believe the promise that you can be promoted to SE/CSM/any role besides account manager from this role, TDR leadership will force you to jump through imaginary hoops regardless of what the hiring manager for the new role thinks.
