How effective is the sales training program at Varonis for individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales?

Fundamental product feature/benefits training for Account Managers and BDs, BDRs get somewhat deeper training and testing. It’s a “churn and burn”  numbers game. BDRs are expected to book a base number of evaluations on-site at customers each month out of which a small % will turn into sales.

Varonis adddresses a very niche market. The sales process (trials) of “Risk Assessments”  (RAs) is rigid and unacceptable in some vertical markets due to required installation on the client’s  network.

When I started there in 2020, their initial sales training + bootcamp was thorough. They did frequent enablement and trainings for the entire sales staff, and were rigid about making sure the messaging and talk tracks were perfect. Lots of role play and "stand and delivers".

As an experience seller, it gets a bit much, but would be perfect for someone newer to sales. No matter the experience level though, Varonis excelled at creating unified messaging and pitches for the teams.

If you are looking to start as an SDR Varonis is very generous with job offers and will train you in lingo and tactics to be successful. They have a high turnover rate for sales reps because it is a very niche product and sales reps tend to get burnt out here very quickly.
