Back to ReviewsFormer Employee Terrible marketing and inbound led flow, there are only a handful of a reps that hit quota ever year, very cut throat sales culture - Product is way behind competitors when it comes to integrations which makes it hard to sell to large enterprises. C level want Upwork to be a saas platform but its really digital staffing and that has been the fundamental issue with the company since going public - results in constant turnover at the C level and also good reps leaving. Sales Managers and Directors are forced to turn water into wine and then get told to be better and figure it out at the top - I would be very careful before taking a job there especially in an IC role, 0 loyalty to their tenured people Browse Other Reviews
