TriNet does a great job during the onboarding and initial training of getting you comfortable with the market. The actual job can be a grind as prospecting is the name of the game, and businesses do not seem interested in learning more. There are times where we can’t work with certain businesses due to the health benefits, and that can be frustrating. If you can prospect, build your referral system, and get past the initial 1-2+ years of nonstop prospecting then you might be successful.

Great place if you can get leads. Changing company Benefits, HR tools and selling HR support is very difficult without their initial inbound interest or a referral. Also this product target market is for companies growing who lack internal HR support or who need top tier health benefits. With many layoffs industry wide in 2024 fewer companies are growing. Great company overall. Lots of collaboration and support from teammates and leadership as long as you are actively engaging. Little to no inbound leads. This is a true hunter/self generating role.
