Toast is the undisputed leader in restaurant tech / SaaS. There’s solid upside for earnings, a great culture, but it’s a bit of a meat grinder org. Have 2 months of missing quota, and you’ll be placed on performance mgmt or PIP.

One of the best corporate sales orgs you can find. Product is fantastic, sales enablement is the best i've seen, and management is full of talented and genuine people across the growth org. Quotas are aggressive, however, and you will need to work very hard to reach them but if you can, comp plans are among the best anywhere.

Changing directives from leadership every month. You will not get leads from marketing. It’s not just a sales roles — it’s business development, onboarding, installation at times, customer support and managing your manager. Training is repetitive and childlike. Should focus more on increasing sales acumen and process (MEDDICC).

It was better when I started. Now we’re public, quotas have increased and territories have shrunk.
