Is anyone hitting their number at Talkdesk? According to this out of 22 AEs who rated only 13% of team is hitting quota? Why is it so unattainable?

There was 30 Enterprise AEs in Central, I finished number 2 at 50%. Only 1 person in central hit their quota.

When you have a new CRO every 6-10 months, this comes with new direction, new territory, new strategy (or lack of).  Hard to hit a target that's always moving.

Commercial can hit targets but Enterprise is a far stretch.

When I was there literally no one hit their numbers, it is not a place to make money if you are in sales. They over hired with a weak product comparatively. They really should've tried to build this a bit more organically and they story would be completely different.  Check there Glassdoor ratings back to the 2015-2016s, complete dumpster fire for years.

Currently,  just under 50% of Enterprise AEs are hitting their YTD quota.  There are a few reasons that barely anyone hit last year.  Turnover at the executive level resulted in constant changes in direction/strategy, quotas were too high to start with, and territories were too small.  Add in that Talkdesk was just starting to gain traction in the channel and you had AEs that were really struggling to find opportunities and execute.   Things have been much better this year but there is still the CRO issue.
