Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Tableau itself continues to be a market leader, and product customers love. The acquisition by Salesforce has brought a lot of changes, some positive but many take away from what made Tableau such a great place to work and develop as a seller.
The original culture that was mission focused on customer success is gone. There's much more emphasis on maximizing ACV at the expense of the customer and their success. i.e., much more focus on uplift at renewals, landing new license deals without the customer's overall success. Less focus on the whole solution involved ISVs and setting up the customer to maximize their investment in Tableau.
