Current Employee Sprout has historically paid L1-3 (SMB->MM->Corporate) well below market rates, bottom ~15% for SMB. These levels got raises in the new year to 60/120 for SMB and 75/150 for MM, but the commission structure got changed to capped monthly MRR performance, with a heavier focus on total TCV. As the math works out, with the new raises included, many reps would have made 5-15k less with the new incentive structure. SMB quotas are up in the new year, along with an increase in headcount, so the segment is getting squeezed more as well. Finally, the business is moving to a 'book' model, rather than state based territories, which makes the path to attainment in L1 & L2 more difficult.
