The product is struggling against Teams. It doesn't matter how good you are, it only matters if you get the right account at the right time. Talent doesn't matter, anyone could do this position but its like gambling, you take a chance on getting no opportunity or a great opportunity. Leadership is scared and continuously changing because nobody hits their number and the expectations are too high. Specialist roles are treated like dog $hit. If you're not core, you aren't valued.

Slack is a great product and company. They did over higher and cut the accounts too thin. No one was hitting quota, I had two managers quit within a year and then there were three rounds of layoffs. I'm sure it was an amazing place to work years ago.

The work is becoming untenable, With the removal of most of our productive tools and the intro of Salesforce self-built tools not fit for purpose and work has become 5 times longer at minimum. And with SF AE having more of a say on our own books than we do, Slack has become a servant to SF
