Integration of Slack at Salesforce has been a failure. Every Slack leader in every business unit in every country has left. 80% of historical slack sellers are gone. And no synergy has been found between slack and salesforce be it on the marketing side or on the product side and more importantly on the seller side. the competition with Microsoft has not been tackled by Salesforce. It seems that slack is no longer an opportunity for salesforce. Maybe an optional product that salesforce will put in its sales bundles.

Currently a shipwreck. Incredibly hard to land new logos. Not one rep may hit quota in my segment this FY. Innovation has been focussed on integrating with Salesforce, which has not paid off yet. Slack's culture pre-Salesforce was incredible. Post-Salesforce, it's gone downhill. Slack as a company is gone. While the product is excellent and superior to any competitor out there, breaking into new accounts is extremely difficult & it's hard to justify the price/compete with Teams in a budget-conscious market.
