Slack is great depending on your book of business. I had an unfair advantage due to being given golden accounts that helped me hit quota over other harder working AEs. From what I’ve been told, this is true across all of Salesfofce.

Culture clash between Salesforce and Slack. Promising roadmap but collaborating with Salesforce is hard. Good opportunities in Existing Business but very tough to go after New Business. Strong competition due to Microsoft’s dominance and Salesforce’s inability to bundle.

Slack has been consumed by the Salesforce machine and we are slowly being edged out to be co-primes. Sales leadership loves fake pipeline and deep opportunity reviews so be prepared.
