my overall experience was difficult, Shopify is a bad remote company. They didn't do enough to make us feel valued or to connect us. I felt really isolated and like it was all work, there was no effort to create company culture despite being remote.

Pros: Great product Cons: Complex ROE, results in many deals where you assist and sell to a client successfully but do not get compensated

Leadership is great. Huge respect for Tobi Lutke! Brilliant man. Unfortunately a lot get lost in the "translation" when it comes to vision, goals, culture in the transition from Leadership to middle-management.
