Managers are all people who sold when Salesforce was taking off and expect their AEs to perform at a similar rate even though territories are spread extremely thin. Management prefers quick deals over long term success of customers and everyone only cares about hitting their number so they can get promoted, but only 20% of AEs do. High anxiety, boiler room mentality.
