Overall it is how I expected a big public sales org to behave. Territories are lean, feast or famine, it takes at least a couple of years to get it...when you do you don't want to leave and then get promoted to first line leadership. Overall it's worth joining the company but you need to be prepared for the mental grind.

My overall experience is that this is the best job I had during my whole career so far. I have worked in PR/Roadshow, Consulting, Publishing (Sales), Manufacturing (Sales Manager) and now SaaS Sales at Salesforce as Core AE. Never have I received so much training, support, recognition and money.

Territories are really squeezed making your success highly territory dependent. If you have a few good accounts that are growing it could make your year.
