Incentive payments and quotas are completely broken. That team cannot explain how targets are set, and the payouts are consistently wrong. Reps spend a significant amount of time correcting mistakes. This needs to be simplified and tracked accurately. The new CRM rollout has been… challenging.

I’ve had a great run at red hat, but IBM is changing the culture for the worst and management is starting to get so hyper fixated on the quarterly numbers and what’s in our (disaster, migrated to SF lightning and nothing works) of a CRM. Compensation plans are not designed around the reality of customer.

My overall experience has been positive and rewarding. The open culture is strong. Sales tools are broken and the sales compensation model is constantly shifting.
