Current Employee My experience at Quickbase has been disappointing. I joined with high expectations but have been let down. While the product has strengths, and many Account Executives (AEs) are great, the management team is one of the weakest I’ve encountered. Leadership lacks clear direction and provides little meaningful support.
The company’s once-strong culture—built on collaboration, communication, and driving revenue—has deteriorated. It has been replaced by an obsession with vanity metrics, excessive micromanagement, and executives who are out of touch with the realities of the sales team. Middle management should be helping bridge the gap, but many seem overwhelmed, especially some of the more recent external hires.
AEs now spend more time dealing with frustrated customers over price hikes, frequent product issues, and excessive administrative work than actually selling or improving their skills.
With the company missing its targets and showing no signs of turning things around, it feels like a sinking ship. Unless there are no other options, I wouldn’t recommend working here. Browse Other Reviews
