The people at Podium are excellent, and the product is really solid. If you're beginning your sales career and don't need much stability, this can be a fantastic place to cut your teeth & learn skills. Plenty of support for developing reps and helping you grow - and every manager I worked with genuinely cared about their people.
Bad:
Leadership either ignores or laughs at the concept of work-life balance. For example, sourcing for leads after-hours is almost a given unless you can hit your #s for demos set during the day and have time to source then. They promote this as ideal, but it doesn't happen for most reps on most days. Ramp is super short: your first month out of training is half quota, then the next month you're on full quota. The worst part, though, is the performance cycle. If you don't hit 100% of your quota in a given month, you go on a PIP the next month. If you don't hit quota that month, you're fired. I was so stressed during my last couple of months that my wife had severe stomach issues; w/in 3 days after I left, she was completely better. Browse Other Reviews
