In hindsight, it was a bad idea to work for Paycom. The way they operate is not rooted in any bit of empathy and is wholly driven by sales numbers. I was above plan year 1, had one bad quarter and was let go after being put on an unachievable PIP that was to be completed in 3 weeks. Come to find out they were reorganizing territories and mine was getting absorbed by a different office. This company will do anything to avoid owning up to a mistake.

Avoid this company at all costs Its 100% territory based and most of the territory is god awful If you have a bad territory you wont last a year Dont get fooled by the base salary - the turnover is extremely high I saw my entire office turnover in less than a year No training or development but doesnt matter if you are trained or not no one wants to switch payroll...Read More

Extreme micro management culture. Earning potential is good but this role is pulled in too many different directions to have alignment quarter over quarter. Most competitors are remote/hybrid where Paycom has chosen to only honor in person meetings towards metrics and mandatory office days on Monday and Friday.
