They didn’t pay me on some of the deals I have closed, equating to a couple hundred grand in commission. A majority of the reps don’t hit quota. I would avoid working at Palo right now based on the leadership

Amazing products and brand reputation. Lots of earning potential. People who need a lot of help and a well defined gtm strategy struggle. Need to be comfortable self educating on technology and self starting on strategy

MY overall experience at PA was horrible as an SE , poor leadership and middle management. poor treatment of SEs , hire academy gradates and overwork exp SEs. move and change role every Q or fiscal year.

Overall the products are good but be wary of what role you take, it’s not worth taking a job here as a entry level person or role. You only can get promoted at an arbitrary leveling pay rate that’s well under market value . Just know there’s a time you’ll need to go elsewhere to make fair pay
