Product offerings are very strong in some areas and weaker in others. Sales compensation gets boosts from many different 'kickers': i.e. - Closing within a particular quater, longer contract terms, etc.

PTC is a leader in the engineering space. There is a reason why Fortune 500 companies rely on PTC software in order to build their products. The products are great but require a lot of industry knowledge to effectively sell PTC had a bad reputation in the 90s & naughts and there is still some of that felt today

My overall experience at PTC was good. As an IC, your role and pipeline health of named accounts is very important to success. Times are changing there for the better with a new CEO. They are in the midst of restructuring the sales team to assign new accounts by vertical. Uncertainty exists with loss of major accounts and being assigned to new ones and new managers....Read More
