Oracle provides the resources to learn how to sell and begin your career. However, burn out is common and leadership lacks in many areas.

My previous company was acquired by Oracle recently. My direct team lead and sales director are great but the rest of the leadership above them doesn't add anything. Products are mostly proprietary or have significant advantages over third party offerings. My sales role and most others simply sell to existing accounts with zero outbound prospecting which is lovely....Read More

My overall experience was tainted by the blatant and obvious favoritism and grooming of individuals that fit a particular mold. You could be the highest attainer on your team and still get pass over for promotions. Success is often dictated by the territory you get and the favorites get the best.
