This is an organization that unfortunately cannot get out of its own way when it comes to the industry verticals. As a sales leader, so much time is spent on navigating internal red tape to take the burden off of your team. There is very little guidance given. You have to be self-motivated to figure out how to get around. Also be aware of the politics as some employees have outsize influence on leadership, although they’re incredibly unpleasant to work with- some to the point of toxicity. These roles are grossly underpaid and do not meet the market rate. The company thinks all employees should be grateful to work for them. Layoffs abound. The most positive aspect is the many colleagues who are sincere and doing good, collaborative work.

It appears that the organization is trying and not doing. Hiding behind metrics and pipelines when it is about people and trust in the company. Many of cold calls I’ve made, the person replied don’t like this company, take me off your list.
