Former Employee My overall experience with OpenText was terrible. The single worst company I have ever worked for. The integration plan after the acquisition of MicroFocus was poorly thought out and short sighted. The bloat at the Sr. Leader level created a power struggle between segments and product lines, leaving some teams with no resources or support. In the Mid Market we had no support at all marketing, channels, or pre sales/solution consulting. Yet, individual quotas for the reps went up 15-20% and managers quotas were assigned at roughly 25% more than the sum of rep quotas. The leadership culture is toxic and full of double speak and backstabbing. Everyone is afraid to cross Mark, the CEO, as he has a record of firing leaders on the spot for disagreeing with him.
