Question

I am in the process of deciding between Motive and another company for Emerging MM. can you please provide all pros and cons? Ex: what is quota attainment like? Sales enablement? Coaching and development from the manager level? Product fit? What is prospecting like? Etc etc.

- Product/Market fit 10/10
- Average Rep Attainment is ~85%
- Sales enablement and onboarding aren't perfect, but Motive has invested a ton money into growing those teams to improve the onboarding experience and the continued training program. 
There are outbound activity metrics AEs are held to. You have SDR support, but the AEs at the top of the president club tracker are AEs that can self-source their own opportunities. 
The MM Emerging Managers are great. They will jump in and help on calls and know the product and company well enough to help external hires thrive!

Emerging MM - If that means you have an open territory vs named accounts, that would be better. In my time at Motive, Named Accounts killed my ability to prospect new companies as there were many restrictions.

Sales Enablement: You'll have tons of internal documentation but coaching & development will definitely depend on your management team. I suggest requesting a mentor within the company. Someone who's neck is on the line if you don't do well. That way if you're not doing well, it isn't only a reflection on you.

Prospecting: You'll have an SDR but I suggest taking the approach of self prospecting and cold calls every day. Most of the stuff my SDR/BDR set for me was not great meetings.
