How difficult is it to be promoted from an SDR role to any other role outside of the org?

That's a weird question. Do you mean how hard is it to transition from a SDR to a different department, within the organization? If you mean how hard is it to go from an SDR to a AE through a company change, that's not really heard of. You move in the same title for more money, then after a ton of success and track record, you move up in title internally. That's the way I've always known it be done in sales

For AE there is a huge track record of success and a bridge program to help with transition after 12 months of quota attainment. For roles outside of AE not as defined. Only recommend if AE is the next step in your career

Agreed with the previous entry. It's a very long and arduous process. A bit convoluted for an organization that recently lost a lot of their top talent.

Sadly the SDR org has been on a promotional freeze. We’ve witnessed them lose talented reps due to lack of promotional opportunities. There are many SDR’s that have been in seat for over 8 quarters but not due to achievement status.

No one on the Enterprise team made the jump to even a commercial AE role in the time I was there. Even the SDRs there for almost two years and consistently hit quota were struggling to find an opening.

Eligible after 1 year and participation in "bridge program" to help refine skills. 5-6 SDRs per quarter successfully make the jump.  Hard if you're not hitting numbers, but if attaining and growing very achievable.
