Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee MongoDB is a very good company for young sellers. The management is highly demanding and working at and for MongoDB is an inflection point in your sales career. This is a rollercoaster and not for everyone. You have a lot to handle (PG, Account Planning, high activity, very technical sales, ...) but it can be highly rewarding (huge RSU package + ESPP + very competitive OTE). Yet, as for most sales job, your territory plays a huge part in this, especially since MongoDB decided to pay sellers on consumption (as for Clouders). Therefore your income relies on the ability of your client to deliver its IT projects .. for experienced sellers you know that Enterprise is not the best place to be for that kind of model (lot of inertia, highly political, ...). A fiscal year seems to be not enough to achieve the huge quotas carried by ENT sellers.
