Non-sales MongoDB is a seemingly great place to be, great leadership, benefits, etc. Sales @ MongoDB can be described as overly-dogmatic, highly political, high turn over, administrative hell. The sales process is a religion, not a helpful framework.

You can be closing deals but if you're not scheduling at least 5 meetings per week, upper management looks at you as a bad rep and makes you feel like you're not doing your job. Great place to learn and grow if you're set up for success.
