Meraki is being swallowed by Cisco and is losing the values it once cherished. I won't be surprised if the brand ceases to exist in the next couple of years. While our products remain the best on the market, we are now following Cisco's guidelines, which means everything takes a long time to get done. Additionally, it appears that Meraki managers are powerless, and changes are happening within the company without their knowledge. I hope things turn around.

Good place to start in tech sales. Wouldn’t recommend to someone who’s been in the industry for a while this role is a stepping stone to either move to greater Cisco or get a job at another tech company that pays more. They have great learning and enablement. Leadership / management is 50/50 good and bad.

My overall experience is good at meraki. Leadership, culture and product fit are all 5 stars. The base and OTE are too low though. A couple years ago you could make up for pay through overachievement on quota and hitting accelerators. In 2024 and moving forward, quotas are becoming nearly impossible to hit for most reps.
