Current Employee I transitioned into LinkedIn from another industry, and it served as an excellent introduction to quota-carrying sales roles. LinkedIn is a resource-rich organization, and its solutions are considered essential by most companies. I greatly enjoy my team and leaders that I work with. Compensation is strong and benefits are likely amongst the best in the market.
That said, one of the more challenging aspects of the role has been tied to growth expectations. For many years, LinkedIn enjoyed business growth rates exceeding 20%, but that trend shifted after 2023. Since then, the company has faced some challenges adjusting to a slower growth environment.
While the future is still bright, LinkedIn is clearly evolving into a more mature organization—reflecting its current place on the business maturity curve. This evolution brings both benefits and challenges, as the company balances innovation and stricter processes with attempting to maintain the culture they've historically been known and lauded for.
