Lower compensation compared to industry average. Things are constantly changing to save costs for the company but reduce pay for employees (i.e. Targets increasing, constant hiring leading to less leads, etc.). Hiring spree over the last few months has led to the majority of the team not hitting target and being on PIPs.

Overall experience has been good. Although since Fy24, the company has gone severely downhill in how they compensate their employees and provide targets that put their employees in a position to succeed

Great team to work with. Lower base and overall compensation package than most tech companies today. Longer hours than most companies. Everyone is super helpful but can be competitive. Collaboration among different teams needs some improving.

Overall the company culture and leadership were great to work with. Base compensation was pretty low but the commissions were good. Overall the biggest downfall was product fit. It just couldn't stand up to alot of the competitors

Having worked at Lightspeed for four years I can say that you could do a lot better for your next sales role. There is no vision from upper management in terms of strategy or product and yet they berate and press the sales team to perform. Outside sales org still pretty new and targets/ KPIs still being defined. No specific sales training provided and a lot of people hired at the same time. GTM strategy inside and outside was a copy paste and outboud motion was not really taken into consideration.

Culture did a complete 180. Used to be a great place that employees would take pride in working at. Since the start of 2024 management has made questionable decision after questionable decision. Be sure to look at more recent reviews, major changes happened which slashed many of the incoming leads, with higher targets that have drained the potential on what you can make. My experience was really good until it was bad. I would avoid all sales roles aside from account executive until the internal restructuring is complete. They don't value existing business at this time.

Great diversity, great team members. Management are delusional with daily KPIs given inefficiencies in tech stack but at least hitting monthly quota is relatively achievable
