Lightedge will offer a great OTE with a lowball base, but it isn’t based on actual historical data, accounts, etc. I joined with a $300k OTE and spent 4-5 weeks without accounts assigned while in training/bootcamps. Months later, I still don’t have a “full” book of business. With new updates to their commission structure, there is no path to $300k. I’ve barely made any commission since I started. The customers considered “enterprise” are typically larger mid-market accounts at best. Most strategic reps are working small upsell deals. Lightedge had a recent acquisition and layoffs over the past year so everyone seems severely burnt out. The SVP of Sales is a horrific leader and constantly tries to pin sales against the rest of the company. He has multiple complaints against him. There is no accountability at a senior leadership level. SVP of Sales will also get in the way of your relationships with customers keeping you from making money. He is combative with customers and internal teams. You won’t find many reps hitting their number for this year, and the company isn’t hitting their sales numbers for the year although they’ll tell you differently throughout the interview process.
